My passion for photography was ignited at the age of 18, a journey that spans four decades. Over the years, I’ve delved into various aspects of this art form, yet my heart has found its true resonance in the world of monochrome. Commencing with the meticulous processes of developing and printing both colour and monochrome films, I spent countless hours in the dimly lit embrace of the darkroom, crafting each print with precision.

What captivates me most is the intricate journey toward creating an aesthetically pleasing print. The transition to digital photography, though convenient, has had its drawbacks, steering me away from the mindful exploration that characterised film photography. The ease of shooting numerous frames without cost considerations can dilute the essence of the photographic process. Despite this, my commitment to printing endures, driven by the belief that countless remarkable images remain unseen in the realms of memory cards, hard drives, or cloud storage.

Sharing these creations with the world, irrespective of their reception, brings a unique joy. The images are crafted for my satisfaction, and whether others appreciate them is a matter of personal preference. Film photography, particularly shooting with classic cameras, continues to be a cherished practice for me when I have the chance.
